Russia puts top International Criminal Court judges on federal wanted list

Russia’s Interior Ministry has put International Criminal Court (ICC) President Judge Piotr Hofmański, ICC First Vice President Judge Luz del Carmen Ibáñez Carranza, and ICC Judge Bertram Schmitt on its federal wanted list.
The ministry’s website says that all three judges are “wanted under an article in the Criminal Code” but provides no other information about any charges against them.
On March 17, the ICC issued arrest warrants against Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Children's Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova for their alleged complicity in the illegal deportations of children from Ukraine’s occupied territories to Russia.
