Polish Defense Ministry posts two-year-old video of migrants at border, says Belarus tried to ‘destabilize’ Poland
Poland’s Defense Ministry posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) which shows a group of migrants tearing down border fences at the Poland-Belarus border. The migrants were trying to break through the fence from Belarus, while armed military officers watch them from the other side.
The video is from November 2021, when there was a migration crisis on the border between Belarus and Poland. The Polish Defense Ministry already posted this video two years ago. It remains unclear why they posted the video again now.
“Attacks on the Polish border carried out by Belarus were aimed at destabilizing the situation in Poland and endangering the security of Poles. Thanks to the increased presence of the Polish army on the border, the Russian-Belarusian plan failed,” read the post.
