The local Altai branch of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has arrested a 42-year-old resident who allegedly poisoned water intended for mobilized servicemen, TASS reports.

According to the FSB, the Barnaul resident reached out to Ukrainian citizens, “expressing radical views on Russia's political course and a readiness to support the AFU.” To prove his intentions, the FSB claims, he poisoned the water and recorded his actions on video which he then, allegedly, sent to “Ukrainian authorities.”

The FBS did not specify when, how, or where the water was poisoned. RIA Novosti reported that no one drank the poisoned water.

The Barnaul resident was charged with attempted treason and terrorism. The court authorized his arrest.
