Sky News: Ukraine used British Storm Shadow missiles in Sevastopol shipyard attack

Source: Meduza

Ukraine used British cruise missiles Storm Shadow in the attack on a Russian shipyard in the annexed Sevastopol, Sky News reports, citing both Ukrainian and Western sources.

Although Kyiv did not officially admit using British missiles in the attack on the Crimean port, the head of the Ukrainian Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk posted a suggestive pun about it on Telegram, writing: “While the occupiers are coping with the ‘storm’ after the nighttime blasts in Sevastopol, I thank the Ukrainian Air Force for a brilliant job!”

Sky News describes last night’s missile strike on Sevastopol as possibly the largest attack on a Russian naval facility since the start of the war.

The pro-war Russian Telegram channel Rybar also writes that Storm Shadow missiles were used in the attack.
