Russia launches drone attack on Odesa region, injuring seven people

Russia carried out a drone attack on Ukraine’s Odesa region overnight on September 13. According to Ukraine’s Southern Operational Command, the attack continued for 4.5 hours and targeted civilian infrastructure.

Air defense systems shot down 32 out of 44 drones launched by Russia, reported Ukraine’s Air Force.

As a result of the drone attack, port infrastructure facilities were damaged and a fire broke out at a truck parking lot.

According to Ukraine’s Southern Operational Command, seven civilian drivers sustained injuries. Odesa governor Oleh Kiper said that six civilians were injured, three of which were hospitalized.
