Two injured in Russian drone attack on Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region

On the night of August 19, Russia launched a drone attack on Ukraine, reports the Ukrainian Air Force Command. Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 15 of the 17 Shahed-136/131 drones involved in the attack.
Two women were injured and 30 houses were damaged in the Khmelnytskyi region as a result of the attack, reports the region’s deputy head, Serhiy Tyurin.
In the Zhytomyr region, a drone targeted an infrastructure facility. According to the Governor of Zhytomyr region Vitaliy Bunechko, the drone was shot down, though “falling debris started a fire, which was localized by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.” There were no casualties. Bunechko says information about the scale of the damage is being verified.
