Russian authorities classify case against pro-war blogger and former FSB officer Igor Strelkov

Russian state investigators have classified the felony case against Telegram blogger and former Federal Security Service (FSB) officer Igor Strelkov, who was charged with extremism last month, his lawyer told the outlet RBC on Wednesday.

The lawyer did not provide any further details, citing a non-disclosure agreement.

The Russian authorities arrested Igor Strelkov in Moscow on July 21, 2023, over two posts he made on Telegram.

In November 2022, a Dutch court sentenced Strelkov to life in prison after finding him guilty in the case of the 2014 Malaysia Airlines crash in the Donetsk region.
