Russia’s Wagner mercenary group has suspended the operations of its regional recruitment centers “indefinitely,” it announced on Telegram on Sunday, citing its “large personnel reserve.”
Grey Zone, a Telegram channel linked to the paramilitary outfit, shared an audio message from the group’s founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in which he said that it’s “yet to be determined” when the recruitment centers will reopen.
Prigozhin also said that Wagner Group’s forces are currently only operating in Africa and in training centers in Belarus.
