Overnight, Russian forces launched yet another attack on the Odesa region.
According to the operational command “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a four-hour attack by Shahed-136 kamikaze drones was aimed at the port infrastructure on the Danube River. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down three drones.
As a result of the strikes, a grain hangar was destroyed and tanks for storing other cargo were damaged. A fire also broke out in one of the production facilities, but it was promptly extinguished.
Oleh Kiper, head of the military administration of Odesa region, reports that six port employees were injured during the attack. Four were hospitalized with injuries.
