According to Sergey Aksyonov, head of annexed Crimea, air defense forces shot down 11 drones over the peninsula on Monday, July 24.

“There was a strike on an ammunition depot in the Dzhankoi area. Additionally, UAV debris damaged a private house in Kirovske district,” Aksyonov wrote on Telegram.

Aksyonov added that, due to the drone attack, “for safety reasons,” traffic on the railroad in Dzhankoi and on the Dzhankoi-Simferopol highway had been suspended.

Residents within five kilometers (three miles) of the site of the attack in Dzhankoi are being evacuated.

There were no casualties, Aksyonov wrote.
