Ukrainian media reports attack on Crimea bridge carried out with help of naval drones
The attack on the Crimean bridge was a special operation of Ukraine’s Armed Forces (AFU) and the Naval Forces of Ukraine, report Ukrainian Pravda and RBC Ukraine, citing sources in Ukraine’s security services. According to the source, naval drones aided in the attack on the bridge.
“Getting to the bridge was complex, but in the end they managed to do it,” the source told RBC Ukraine.
This morning, Ukraine’s security service posted a slightly altered line from a Ukrainian lullaby on Telegram. On the evening of July 16, the head of the AFU Ground Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, warned that a “lullaby” was being prepared for the Russians.
The head of the parliament of annexed Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, blamed Ukrainian forces for the attack on the Crimean bridge. “Tonight the terrorist regime of Kyiv committed a new crime — attacking the Crimean bridge,” Konstantinov wrote on Telegram.
