Russia’s Defense Ministry calls Prigozhin’s reports of rocket attack ‘a false flag’

Russia’s Defense Ministry is circulating an announcement stating that “all of the reports and video footage from Yevgeny Prigozhin circulating on social media and allegedly showing ‘a Defense Ministry strike on Wagner Group rear camps’ do not correspond to reality and are an informational false flag.”

Russia’s Armed Forces, according to the announcement, “continue to carry out military duties at the line of contact with Ukraine’s Armed Forces in the region of the ongoing special military operation.”

On June 23, Yevgeny Prigozhin said that Russia’s Defense Ministry troops had carried out a missile strike on Wagner camps, killing numerous Wagner fighters.
