Prigozhin says he will ‘restore justice’ and calls on Russians to join him

Wagner Group founder Yevgeny Prigozhin has called on all Russians to join him in his campaign against the Russian Defense Ministry.

“We’re 25,000 strong, and we’re going to get to the bottom of the lawlessness in this country. 25,000 are waiting as a tactical reserve, while the strategic reserve is the entire army and the entire country. Everyone who wants to, join us. We need to put an end to this disgrace,” Prigozhin said in a recording shared on Telegram.

Earlier, the tycoon announced that he’s going to “restore justice” in the army and in Russia as a whole, calling on Russians “not to resist.”

“Everyone who resists, we’ll take that as a threat — and destroy them immediately. Including any roadblocks in our path. I ask everyone to remain calm, not to succumb to provocations, and to remain in your homes. It’s advisable that you don’t go outside along our route,” he added.
