Zelensky advisor says Ukraine’s counteroffensive has already begun

Volodymyr Zelensky's communications advisor Mykhailo Podolyak said in a new interview with the Italian TV channel RAI that Ukrainian troops have already begun their counteroffensive.

“The counteroffensive has been going on for several days already,” the channel quoted Podolyak as saying. He noted that the front now spans 1,500 kilometers, but said “individual operations have already begun.”

Podolyak also reiterated that Ukraine does not plan to use weapons provided by its allies to carry out strike on Russian territory, and that it will only use them on “territories occupied by Russia, including Crimea and the Donbas.”
