The Moscow-installed head of the Russian authorities in annexed Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhoyev, said on Telegram that the city came under attack by drones on Wednesday night but that air defenses downed the weapons.
Around [the village of] Kacha, Black Sea Fleet forces shot down two drones using small arms, and several other drones were jammed and grounded using electronic warfare systems.
He added that no infrastructure was damaged.
Sergey Aksenov, Crimea’s Russian-appointed governor, reported that drones were also spotted in other parts of the annexed peninsula. He said a total of six drones were either jammed and grounded or downed by air defenses.
