At least 10 servicemen injured in drone strike on military base in Russia’s Voronezh region
Two UAVs targeted the Pogonovo military base in Russia’s Voronezh region in the early hours of May 10. The Telegram news channel Astra reported on the incident.
More than 10 servicemen were injured in the strike. Ten ambulances had to be dispatched to the site, Astra writes.
Another news outlet, Baza, quotes a source who said that around 14 people had been injured by the blasts when the two explosive-filled drones blew up at the military base.
Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev has confirmed that two UAVs had targeted a military facility in the area.
A day earlier, Astra writes, a missile had been launched at the Russian Baltimore airbase, also in the Voronezh region. Remnants of a homing missile were later discovered at a local cemetery, six kilometers away from the airbase.
