Moscow Victory Day parade concludes with no air show

Source: Meduza

Moscow’s military parade marking the 78th anniversary of the Soviet Victory in World War II has concluded.

The event lasted 47 minutes and involved Soviet-made T-34-85 tanks as well as Yars, S-400, and Iskander-M missiles.

Seven foreign leaders attended the parade. Vladimir Putin gave a roughly 10-minute speech in which he repeated many of the ideas Russian officials have used to justify the war against Ukraine, including that the Ukrainian people are being held hostage by “Western globalist elites.”

The event did not include an air show. The Russian Defense Ministry did not say in advance of the parade whether military aircraft would participate.
