Russian troops attacked multiple Ukrainian regions with kamikaze drones on Wednesday night, Ukraine’s Air Force Command reported on Thursday.

According to the Ukrainian military, a total of 24 Iranian-made Shahed drones were launched from Russia’s Bryansk region and from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov. Ukrainian air defense forces reportedly downed 18 of them.

Local authorities reported that all of the drones and missiles that attacked Kyiv were shot down, and that debris from the weapons damaged several cars. Air defenses in Odesa reportedly downed 12 of 15 drones. The remaining three drones in the city crashed into a school dormitory, military officials reported, though nobody was injured.
