Russian Defense Ministry says overnight attack which injured more than 30 civilians in Pavlohrad targeted Ukraine’s ‘military-industrial facilities’
Russia’s Defense Ministry said that the overnight missile strike was aimed at Ukraine’s “military-industrial facilities.” The attack was carried out by “high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons,” according to a statement released by Russia’s Ministry of Defense.
“The designated targets have been hit. The goal of the strike has been achieved. Enterprises producing ammunition, weapons and military equipment for the Ukrainian troops have been compromised.”
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 34 people, including five children, were injured as a result of Russia’s missile attack on Pavlohrad. 24 apartment buildings and 80 private homes were damaged in the strike, according to the latest reports.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Russia launched 18 missiles into Ukraine, 15 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses.
