Forbes’ 2023 billionaires list includes 22 more Russian citizens than last year

Forbes’ annual billionaires list for 2023 includes 110 Russian citizens, which is 22 more than in 2023, the magazine’s Russian edition noted on Thursday.
According to the newly released ranking, the richest person in Russia is Andrey Melnichenko, founder of the fertilizer manufacturer EuroChem. Forbes estimated his net worth at $25.2 billion, putting him in 58th place globally.
The magazine also pointed out that had five billionaires not renounced their Russian citizenship in 2022, the list would include 115 Russians.
