Russian troops launch overnight drone attack on Ukraine’s Odesa region

Russian troops attacked Ukraine’s Odesa region with Iranian-made Shahed drones overnight on April 18–19, local military administration head Yuriy Kruk said on Telegram.

According to preliminary reports, no people were injured by the attack, though civilian infrastructure was damaged, and a fire broke out at one of the strike sites.

Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 12 drones attacked the region in total, and that air defense forces managed to down 10 of them.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck down seven drones over the country’s Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions on Tuesday evening.
