Volodymyr Zelensky visits Ukrainian frontline defenders in Avdiivka

Volodymyr Zelensky has traveled to Avdiivka to meet with the Ukrainian troops on the frontline near Donetsk, writes the Ukrainian President’s Office.
President Zelensky listened to the military command’s reports, talked to the troops, and awarded state decorations to the defenders.

“It’s an honor to be here today to thank you for your service and for defending our country, Ukraine, and our families. Happy holidays and happy Easter to you all,” said Zelensky, referring to the Eastern Orthodox Easter celebration that started last Sunday.
“I wish you nothing but victory, the same thing I wish to every Ukrainian,” said the president to the members of the military.
