Russia’s Justice Ministry has included Maksim Pokrovsky, the leader of the rock group Nogu Svelo!, on its list of “foreign agents,” according to the ministry’s website.
The ministry’s report says that Pokrovsky has openly supported Ukraine, actively cooperated with foreign structures, “spoken negatively about Russian citizens,” and raised money in support of Ukraine.
Pokrovsky currently lives in the U.S.
Other additions to the list of “foreign agents” include Sergey Boyko, Novosibirsk politician; Georgy Chentemirov, the head of the journalists union of Karelia; Teplitsa, a project focused on technology and civil society; the Alliance of Heterosexuals and LGBT for Equal Rights; and the Nastoyashaya Rossiya organization.
