Russian National Guard vehicle hits a mine in Bryansk, reports Duma deputy Alexander Khinshteyn

Four members of Russia’s National Guard reportedly received minor shrapnel wounds when their vehicle hit a landmine while they were “cleansing” the area around the village of Sushany, in the Bryansk region. State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshteyn published a photo of one of the mines they discovered on Telegram.

On March 2, the FSB and authorities in the Bryansk region reported that a “Ukrainian reconnaissance and sabotage group” had entered Russia and went to the villages of Liubechane and Sushany. The group reportedly shot up a car, killing two people and injuring an 11-year-old girl. Russian security services added that “a large number of explosive devices had been discovered in the area.”
