FSB: ‘Saboteurs forced back to Ukrainian territory’ and subject to a ‘massive artillery strike’

Source: Interfax

The FSB reports that a group of “Ukrainian saboteurs” who made an “incursion” into the Bryansk region have been “forced back to Ukrainian territory.”

“In order to avoid casualties among the civilian population and damage to civilian infrastructure, the enemy has been forced back to Ukrainian territory, where they were subjected to a massive artillery strike,” the agency claims.

The FSB did not specify how many alleged “saboteurs” had entered the Bryansk region, or how many of them were killed in the strike.

The Russian authorities claim that a group of “Ukrainian saboteurs” crossed the Russian border into the Bryansk region on March 2. The Russian Volunteer Corps, which calls itself part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, took responsibility for sending around 45 people across the border into Russia. Kyiv denies any involvement in the incident and calls it a “class false-flag attack.”
