A Tyumen resident got a subsidy for utility bills — 1 kopeck
Authorities in the city of Ishim, in the Tyumen region, gave a resident a subsidy of 1 kopek (around 1/100 of a cent) to help pay utility bills. The resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, posted the official notice on Telegram.
In response, the city administration said that they agreed to reimburse the citizen 1 kopek from January to June of 2023, bringing his grand total to 6 kopeks.
The resident thanked the administration “for such unreal help.” He says his monthly utility bills reach 10,000 rubles a month ($146 USD).
