Authorites in the annexed city of Sevastopol say that eight drones were shot down on January 16.
Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhayev wrote on Telegram that seven drones had been downed. According to his reports, the drone attack lasted for about an hour on the morning of January 16.
Razvozhayev separately noted that the drones were shot down over the sea, and that, “no objects either in the city or in the water were damaged.”
Razvozhayev’s press service later clarified that another drone had been destroyed overnight, bringing the total number to eight.
Ukrainian drones have been attacking Sevastopol regularly since the fall. So far, no major destruction or casualties have been reported as a result of these attacks.
