A fuel truck exploded at an airfield outside Ryazan. RIA Novosti reported the incident, citing the local emergency services.
A fire broke out following the explosion. Three people were killed on the site, and six more were injured, according to the same source. TASS reports a different figure: three people dead, and five injured.
The explosion damaged one of the planes stationed in the airfield. What caused the explosion is still unknown.
