Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov hospitalized with COVID-19

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says that he has been hospitalized after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.
“Yes, I got sick, I’m getting treatment,” he told Interfax.
According to journalists from the Kremlin pool, the last time Peskov was seen in public was on April 30, during a video conference with President Vladimir Putin. Peskov told TASS that the last time he met with the president in person was over a month ago.
Update: Peskov’s wife, Tatyana Navka, told the outlet Daily Storm that she has also been hospitalized with the coronavirus.
- In late March, Peskov confirmed that there were already people within the Presidential Administration who were sick with COVID-19. Several members of the Russian cabinet have also been diagnosed with the disease, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
