The Kremlin still refuses to comment on the sexual-harassment scandal exploding at the State Duma

On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov got another opportunity to comment on the Slutsky scandal. He declined — five times. Journalists from Meduza, Vedomosti, Dozhd, and another outlet asked him about the story, and Peskov refused each time to talk about it.
Does the Kremlin have anything to add to its silence on Thursday? No. Will the president try to broker a peace between the State Duma and the news media? No. Will the Kremlin seek new legislation finally criminalizing sexual harassment? No. Has Putin even talked to State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin about this? Who knows. Is the president even aware of the expanding media boycott, following Slutsky’s exoneration by the Ethics Committee? No comment.
