In photos: Muscovites face hour-long lines for gasoline

Source: Meduza

Ukrainian forces continue to attack Russian oil refineries. The fuel crisis has spread to most regions of Russia, including Moscow. The independent journalists’ cooperative Bereg published a photo report from the capital, where drivers sometimes wait nearly an hour in line at gas stations. Meduza is republishing the piece in full.

In recent days, long lines have formed at gas stations, except those that sell only diesel.
Gas station staff stop people from filming: “This is a restricted facility. You need permission to film here!”
Nearly all Lukoil gas stations are either closed or selling only diesel.
Neftmagistral gas stations still have gasoline, though not all grades are available.
A handful of Gazprom gas stations are still operating, but they’re either out of regular (AI-92) gasoline or selling only diesel.
Teboil stations still have gasoline, but purchases are limited to 20 liters per customer.
Rosneft appears to be faring best: many of its gas stations still have gasoline, with a 50-liter limit per customer. However, regular (AI-92) gasoline is often unavailable or in short supply.
Even Rosneft gas stations, however, often close for at least an hour while waiting for gasoline deliveries.
When gas stations shut down, drivers remain in line, waiting for the next gasoline delivery.
Drivers complain that the news isn’t reporting on the gasoline shortages in the capital.
