Television “healer” Anatoly Kashpirovsky will be buried in the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia, his nephew told TASS.

“The coffin is currently at a terminal in Istanbul. It’s expected to arrive in Warsaw late tonight. Then it will be taken by train to Kyiv, and from there to Vinnytsia,” he said.

Kashpirovsky’s nephew told RBC that before his death, Kashpirovsky had asked for some of his ashes to be taken to Vinnytsia, where his mother is buried, and the rest to remain in Russia.

Kashpirovsky died October 3 at age 87. An official memorial service was held at Troyekurovskoye Cemetery on October 8.

Kashpirovsky was born in 1939 in the village of Stavnytsia in the Ukrainian SSR’s Khmelnytskyi region. He graduated from a medical institute in Vinnytsia and later worked in the city for many years.
