Boris Nemtsov’s daughter is now a ‘foreign agent’ in Russia. So are social media accounts run by Alexey Navalny’s team.

Source: Russia's Justice Ministry

Russia’s Justice Ministry has added Zhanna Nemtsova, the daughter of murdered politician Boris Nemtsov, and Team Navalny, a group of social media accounts run by Anti-Corruption Foundation staff, to its registry of “foreign agents.”

The ministry also added Circassian activist Rustam Khuazhev and the media outlet Reanimatsiya.

The ministry said those newly designated as “foreign agents” had spread false information about Russian authorities’ policies and opposed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

It also removed Nasiliu.net (No to Violence) Center from the registry because it has been dissolved.
