Russia suspends planned inspections for one year at businesses hit by Ukrainian drone attacks
The Russian government has imposed a moratorium on inspections of commercial sites damaged by drone attacks until October 1, 2027.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko said the moratorium covers sites damaged since January 1, 2026. They will be exempt from scheduled inspections and certain unscheduled regulatory checks.
“The decision is meant to ease the administrative burden on businesses and support companies currently repairing sites damaged by the attacks. During this period, it’s important that they devote their resources primarily to repairs rather than dealing with inspections,” Grigorenko said.
Ukraine has attacked Wildberries warehouses in several Russian regions since midsummer. Since August, warehouses belonging to Ozon, another major online marketplace, have also come under attack. The attacks have caused billions of rubles in damage. Russian oil refineries are also regularly targeted by drones.
