‘On a rocket, ****,’ Zelensky responds to Russian state TV propagandist shouting, ‘When are you coming to Moscow?’
A correspondent for the Russian state broadcasting company VGTRK, Valentin Bogdanov, tried to ask Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York when he would visit Moscow. The Kremlin has set that visit as a condition for a one-on-one meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents.
Video footage circulated by the media showed the Russian propagandist catching up with Zelensky, who was walking down a street talking with other journalists in English. Bogdanov shouted at him several times in Russian: “Vladimir Alexandrovich, when are you coming to Moscow?”
Zelensky initially ignored him but eventually responded over his shoulder: “On a rocket,” apparently adding an obscenity that is hard to make out on the recording.
