Ella Pamfilova, the head of Russia’s Central Election Commission, received a free apartment from the state in downtown Moscow, according to an investigation by Team Navalny. She registered it in the name of her granddaughter, 27-year-old Irina Kezina.
The apartment measures 237 square meters (2,551 square feet) and is located in a building at 12 Rochdelskaya Street. The nine-story building has 42 apartments and is under constant guard by the FSO. The same building also houses apartments belonging to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Sberbank CEO German Gref, Constitutional Court Chairman Valery Zorkin, former Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika, and other officials.
Investigators estimated the apartment’s value at 200 million rubles. They said it was registered in Kezina’s name in 2024.
