Russian units of Auchan, Nestlé, Lemana PRO (formerly Leroy Merlin), and FM Logistic get new executives under Putin-ordered temporary control

Management has changed at the Russian operations of all four foreign companies whose assets Vladimir Putin placed under temporary control by decree.

According to RBC, Denis Isayev has been appointed head of the Russian company that operates the Lemana PRO home-improvement chain, formerly known as Leroy Merlin. Novaya Gazeta Europe said he is the son of Rizvangadzhi Isayev, a State Duma deputy from United Russia from 2007 to 2011.

In April 2026, a court ordered 18 billion rubles’ worth of Rizvangadzhi Isayev’s assets seized in a lawsuit brought by the Prosecutor General’s Office. Prosecutors alleged that the elder Isayev had used his position as a lawmaker to seize state-owned land and municipal property in Krasnodar.

Yevgeny Nenashev was appointed CEO of the Russian subsidiary of the French logistics company FM Logistic. After examining leaked databases, Novaya Gazeta Europe found that his phone number had been used to purchase airline tickets for the family of Otari Arshba, who has served five terms in the State Duma, including the current one. In the early 2000s, Arshba held senior positions at Evraz, where Roman Abramovich became the largest shareholder in 2004.

According to Agentstvo, Nenashev also worked at the Moscow Region agency responsible for housing oversight and grounds maintenance from at least 2022 through 2024. He is a co-founder of the Second Chance foundation, which was established with support from the New People Party and helps people with addictions.

News of management changes at the other two companies emerged the previous day. Ilya Berdnikov was appointed CEO of Auchan’s Russian division. Kommersant said he has served as an executive director at Russia’s Federal Property Management Agency since December 2024.

Denis Voityuk will head Nestlé’s Russian subsidiary, Nestlé Russia. He previously served as an executive director at the company.

On September 17, Vladimir Putin signed a law placing the Russian assets of Auchan, Nestlé, Lemana PRO, and FM Logistic — which provided logistics services to the other three — under the temporary management of L.E.V. Management. The Kremlin said the companies were placed under temporary control because they were from countries Russia considers unfriendly and “are currently heavily involved in military operations against our country.”

Journalists found that L.E.V. Management was registered in October 2024 with share capital of 15,000 rubles and is headed by Andrey Krayushkin, an Interior Ministry major general who served as first deputy head of its migration department from 2016 until at least 2020.
