Russia’s election commission says five parties are on track to enter the State Duma. Ruling United Russia had 57.19% with results in from more than a third of precincts.
Russia’s Central Election Commission has released results from the State Duma elections after 36.87% of precinct tally sheets had been processed.
United Russia had 57.19% of the vote on the federal party list. The Communist Party came second with 13.85%, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party with 9.16% and New People with 8.01%. A Just Russia also cleared the 5% threshold, with 5.23%.
The commission said earlier that United Russia candidates were leading in 161 of the 225 single-mandate districts.
The State Duma has 450 seats. Half are filled from federal party lists and the other half in single-mandate districts.
