Russia’s 3rd Combined Arms Army posted footage on its Telegram channel showing an FPV drone attacking an unarmed man riding a bicycle along a road near the village of Vasylivska Pustosh, in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region.
In the video, which appeared on the “3-ia udarnaia” Telegram channel on August 21, the man is riding his bicycle when he spots the drone ahead of him, stops, backs away, and tries to get off the bike. At that moment, the drone strikes him.
The video was captioned: “Servicemen of the 2nd artillery brigade destroyed enemy personnel using FPV drones. Once again, the enemy is losing manpower and its shelters, and there is already nowhere left to hide from our fighters.”
By the time of this report, the video had been removed from the 3rd Combined Arms Army’s Telegram channel. Journalists with the independent Telegram channel Astra claim it was taken down on August 23, after they drew attention to the footage and wrote about it on their own Telegram channel.
Only the video itself was deleted; the accompanying caption remained.
