Jovan Savović, the creator of Leprosorium and the group blogging platform Dirty, has died. He was 43.

Friends and colleagues posted word of Savović‘s death on Dirty.ru. An acquaintance of his confirmed the news to Varlamov News.

The Dirty.ru post said that Savović‘s “young heart could not bear the weight of existence.” The Telegram channel Mash said the preliminary cause of death was a heart attack.

Savović was born in Yugoslavia. In 1991, he moved to Russia. He founded Dirty.ru in 2001, and in 2004 he launched Leprosorium, also known as Lepra — an invitation-only group blog that could be joined only with an invitation.
