Ukrainian drones struck industrial facilities in Ufa overnight on August 19, Bashkortostan Governor Radiy Khabirov said. Air defense forces shot down four of six drones, he said, while one came down in an industrial zone and sparked a fire, and another struck a residential building in the Zaton neighborhood, injuring one person.

The Ufa attack also set fire to a unit undergoing repairs at an oil refinery, Khabirov said.

A Ukrainian drone also damaged a residential building in Dzerzhinsk, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Telegram channel Astra reported. There is no information on injuries among residents.

Drones also attacked the Sverdlov explosives plant in Dzerzhinsk, where witness video showed heavy smoke rising from the site. Ukrainian drones have struck the plant multiple times before.

Authorities in the Vladimir and Tula regions reported drone attacks as well. Tula Governor Dmitry Milyaev said air defenses destroyed the drones there, with no casualties or damage. In the Vladimir region, Governor Alexander Avdeev said drones damaged structures in a dacha community but that no one was hurt.
