In Taganrog, a woman died after missile debris hit a residential apartment building, Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar said, adding that the rest of the building’s residents were being evacuated. Two more people were injured in the attack.
A Ukrainian drone attack in the Ryazan region injured six people, all of whom were hospitalized. Ryazan Governor Pavel Malkov said a fire broke out “in industrial areas,” without specifying what that meant.
Ryazan is also home to a large Wildberries warehouse that had not previously been targeted by Ukrainian drones. On the morning of July 29, the press service of RWB, the merged company, reported that its logistics facility in Ryazan “had been evacuated in accordance with safety requirements.”
