Russia and Ukraine exchange 160 prisoners of war each

Russia’s Defense Ministry announced a POW exchange with Ukraine in which each side transferred 160 people to the other.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky later confirmed the swap, saying everyone returned to Ukraine had been held captive since 2022.

The last exchange took place on June 5, when both sides transferred 185 prisoners to each other.
