Update. The main VKontakte app, the Mail.ru email app, the educational platform Skillbox, and the content platform Dzen have also disappeared from the App Store.

Several apps belonging to the VK holding company vanished from the App Store, the Russian business news outlet RBC reported on June 25. The affected apps include Dzen, VK Video, VK Messenger, VK Music, and VK Dating.

The Odnoklassniki social network app is also unavailable in Apple’s store.

VK’s press service stated the company had never been subject to sanctions. “Official legal opinions and all necessary information have long been in Apple’s possession. Nevertheless, Apple unilaterally removed VK’s apps without warning,” the press service said.

In 2025, 1,213 apps were removed from the Russian App Store.
