U.S. President Donald Trump published a social media post criticizing Russia’s Wednesday night deadly missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV (sic),” he wrote. “Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”
Russia’s attack targeted eight of Ukraine’s regions, including the Kyiv region, where it killed at least eight people and injured at least 90.
