Trump envoy Steve Witkoff travels to Russia to meet with Putin — Axios

Source: Axios

U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, traveled to Russia for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, Axios reports, citing a source and flight tracking data from FlightRadar24.

According to the outlet iStories, the flight tracking service ADSBexchange showed a Gulfstream G650ER business jet with the tail number N103WG in St. Petersburg on Friday morning. Witkoff previously used the same jet to travel to Russia for his first meeting with Putin in early February.

The State Department did not respond to Axios’s request for comment on Witkoff’s trip. The Kremlin has not issued any statements about the reported meeting.

This would mark Witkoff’s third meeting with Putin in the past two months.
