U.S. and Russian delegations to hold next meeting in Saudi Arabia on March 23

U.S. and Russian delegations will meet on Sunday, March 23, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to continue negotiations over the war in Ukraine, U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff told Fox News on Tuesday.

According to Witkoff, the U.S. delegation will be led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

Earlier on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call. Following the talks, both sides stated that Russia had agreed to a “mutual 30-day suspension of strikes on energy infrastructure.”
