Russian and U.S. delegations will hold a second round of talks in Riyadh on Tuesday, February 25, Die Zeit reported, citing diplomatic sources.
The publication did not specify who would take part in the meeting but noted that it would be a continuation of the February 18 talks in the Saudi capital. That meeting was led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, marking the first official talks between the two countries since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Representatives from the E.U. and Ukraine were not invited to participate.
