Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to E.U. foreign policy chief Josep Borrell’s request for an international investigation into Alexey Navalny’s death, saying that Moscow doesn’t accept “such demands,” reports Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Borrell asked Russia to allow “an independent and transparent international investigation” into Navalny’s death.
“We don’t accept such demands at all, especially not from Mr. Borrell,” said Peskov in response to a question about the Kremlin’s opinion on the E.U. foreign policy chief’s request.
