Tinder to stop working in Belarus

The dating app Tinder will stop working in Belarus beginning on February 15, its press service has announced.
The app’s parent company, Match, did not provide an official reason for the departure. In May 2023, however, when the company announced Tinder would stop working in Russia, it cited human rights concerns.
“It’s not a good look for a trusted brand to be continuing operations in a nation where the head of state has been indicted by the International Criminal Court,” the executive director of one of Match’s shareholders told Reuters at the time.
